On the occasion of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority's (MIRA) 14th anniversary, Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq introduced the new initiative "Gulhigen MIRA." This program is set to enhance relationships with taxpayers and stakeholders, aiming to build trust and boost voluntary compliance.
"Gulhigen MIRA" is designed to improve MIRA's services by fostering stronger connections and greater transparency. The initiative includes plans for various employee activities to further develop internal engagement and efficiency.
The launch event was attended by key figures including Commissioner General Hassan Zareer, Deputy Commissioner Asma Shafeeu, and former Commissioner General Fathullah Jameel. The gathering also featured senior officials, board members, and both current and former employees of MIRA, highlighting the collaborative spirit behind the new initiative.
