HDC Seeks Developers for Food Trucks in Hulhumale'

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has announced a new opportunity for food truck operators in Hulhumale’. The corporation is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) from developers keen on operating food trucks in the area.

HDC is seeking proposals to explore various business models, although it prefers a fixed fee structure. However, proponents are welcome to propose any business model they see fit, provided they clearly outline the benefits for both parties involved.

Proposals will be evaluated based on several criteria, including the proposed business model, the experience of the operator and contractor, the proposed team, and the financial stability of the developer. Additionally, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) aspect and the concept design of the food truck will be considered.

HDC emphasized that it reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and can even annul the process before signing the framework agreement. If the process is annulled, all proponents will be informed, and their proposals will be returned.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit their EOI via email or deliver them to HDC’s headquarters by 14:00 hours on August 6, 2024. The EOI application form, which includes detailed guidelines, is available from HDC.
