Fenaka Corporation Limited has announced the acquisition and installation of 43 new generators to strengthen the electricity infrastructure in the Maldives. This upgrade comes as part of a broader initiative to address the need for improved generator capacity identified earlier this year.
Under new management, Fenaka has acted swiftly to enhance electricity services, delivering new generators to 20 islands by the end of the first quarter. This initiative aimed to resolve previous challenges related to electricity generation and improve overall service reliability.
In addition to the new generators, Fenaka has performed necessary overhauls and engineering work across several islands. These improvements have led to a noticeable enhancement in power supply and generation capacity.
Fenaka's commitment extends beyond the current upgrades. The company plans to continue with further overhauls, procure additional spare parts, and purchase more generators to ensure a sustainable and efficient electricity service. The ongoing efforts reflect Fenaka’s dedication to improving energy infrastructure and service quality throughout the Maldives.
