Dhiraagu Honors Long-Serving and Outstanding Staff at Annual Awards

Dhiraagu recently hosted its annual awards ceremony to recognize and celebrate the contributions of its long-serving staff and outstanding achievers. The event took place at Crossroads Maldives and was attended by the Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM), Ilyas Ahmed, Dhiraagu Board members, Dhiraagu CEO and MD, Ismail Rasheed, along with members of the company's leadership and staff.

This year’s ceremony honored a total of 79 staff members for their remarkable contributions to the company. The recognition included 45 long-serving staff who have been with Dhiraagu for 10, 15, and 25 years. These employees were celebrated for their continued dedication and service over the years.

Additionally, awards were presented to 34 staff members who have made significant strides in the company’s success. These accolades included 15 Divisional Merit Awards, 11 Special Merit Awards, 5 Innovation Awards, and 2 Outstanding Leaders Awards, highlighting the diverse achievements within the organization.

The most prestigious recognition of the night, the Chairperson’s Award, was presented to Ismail Samah, Engineer Core Systems. Samah is acknowledged as one of the most dedicated members of the Dhiraagu team, with his technical expertise and tireless efforts playing a crucial role in the company’s core system projects.
