MIB Launches Self-Service Kiosks for Enhanced Customer Convenience

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has rolled out self-service kiosks, offering customers the ability to independently access banking services. This initiative is part of MIB’s ongoing efforts to provide more convenient and efficient banking solutions for its customers.

The self-service kiosks are currently available at MIB branches in Male' City and Hulhumale', with plans to expand this service to other atolls nationwide. These kiosks are designed to help customers manage their banking needs more easily, and MIB employees will be on hand to assist with any questions or issues.

In addition to the kiosks, MIB has introduced several new services aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience. One of the standout features is the ApplyNow service, which is recognized as one of the fastest and most effective banking portals in the Maldives. ApplyNow allows customers to open accounts without having to visit a bank branch, making MIB the only bank in the country to offer such a service.

The ApplyNow portal also includes a new section that enables customers to purchase goods and assets, as well as withdraw money for various purposes, all remotely. MIB has stated that all banking services will be accessible through the portal, significantly simplifying the banking process for customers.

These initiatives underscore MIB’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the customer experience and make banking more accessible and convenient for all. As MIB continues to expand its digital offerings, customers can look forward to even more innovative solutions designed to meet their banking needs efficiently and effectively.
