In a significant move towards luxury housing, the foundation stone for the 'Aséria Homes & Townhouses' project in Hulhumalé Phase 2 was laid today in a special ceremony. The event was graced by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef, who laid the foundation stone, signaling the commencement of the premium villa development.
The 'Aséria Homes & Townhouses' project is set to be developed over an area of 19,000 square meters in Hulhumalé Phase 2. The construction of these villas has been handed over to Batch Construction Private Limited by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
The President's Office has announced that the project will feature three types of premium units: 37 beach villas, 14 garden villas, and 22 urban villas, totaling 73 units. The entire project is slated for completion within three years.
Each villa will be equipped with various high-end amenities, including semi-guarded security, a private neighborhood, resident gardens, a guardroom, a police post, a clubhouse, a lap pool and pool house, a wellness center, a recreation center, a multipurpose event hall, and a commercial complex. These features aim to provide residents with a luxurious and secure living environment.
The 'Aséria Homes & Townhouses' project was awarded to Batch Construction by HDC on November 13, 2022. According to HDC, this initiative will introduce the concept of luxury living to Hulhumalé and is expected to generate approximately 100 new jobs. While the exact value of the project has not been disclosed, HDC emphasized that it will bring significant economic and social benefits to both Hulhumalé and the Maldives as a whole.
The commencement of this project marks a notable advancement in the housing sector, promising to elevate the standard of living and contribute to the economic growth of the region.
