MTCC Ambitiously Takes On Additional Two New Projects Before the End of the Year

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) boasts being the leading marine and land transport provider in addition to being the leading civil and marine constructor in Maldives. Whilst they had celebrated their 40^th Anniversary on 18^th December, at present, they are simultaneously involved in multiple projects nationwide, which are well underway.

During a ceremony held on Monday, the Company has been awarded two additional projects by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing & Infrastructure. The details of both the projects are as herein;

Design & Build of a Coastal Protection Structure at Fulidhoo in Vaavu Atoll
This project is valued at MVR 16.94 million and is expected to be completed within 350 days. Work under the project will compromise of dredging and reclamation of 1.2 hectares of land, construction of 210 meters of groynes, & construction of breakwater of 270 meters.

Design & Build of a Coastal Protection Structure at Henbadhoo in Noonu Atoll
The project is valued at MVR 5 million and is expected to be completed within 100 days. Work under the project will compromise of construction of groynes of 25 meters along with the construction of a rock boulder revetment of 235 meters.
