In a recent announcement, Bank of Maldives (BML) confirmed that it will be open for business on Monday, 18th June 2023, during the Eid Al-Adha holidays. This decision follows the directive from the Maldives Monetary Authority, ensuring that essential banking services remain accessible to customers during the festive period.
BML will operate from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM on this day, providing an opportunity for customers to manage their banking needs despite the holidays. The bank aims to offer uninterrupted services to its customers, ensuring they have access to necessary banking facilities during Eid.
To further support its customers, BML’s Self-Service Banking Centres across the country will continue to operate 24 hours a day throughout the holiday period. These centres offer a range of services including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, enabling customers to conduct their banking transactions at their convenience.
In addition, Cash Agents located on inhabited islands will be available to provide basic banking services. This initiative ensures that even in remote areas, customers can access essential banking functions without having to travel far.
BML encourages its customers to take advantage of its Internet Banking and Mobile App for everyday banking during the Eid holidays. These digital platforms offer a seamless banking experience, allowing customers to perform a variety of transactions from the comfort of their homes. Whether it’s checking account balances, transferring funds, or paying bills, BML’s digital banking solutions provide a convenient and efficient way to manage finances.
In its statement, BML extended warm wishes to its customers, saying, "We wish our customers a blessed Eid." The bank's commitment to providing continuous service during the holidays underscores its dedication to customer satisfaction and convenience.
