Ministry of Tourism Invites Eligible Investors to Submit Interest to Develop Tourist Resorts in 4 Islands

An announcement was made today by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), on behalf of the Government of Maldives inviting eligible investors, either local or foreign, to submit their interest in for the lease, development, operation and management of tourist resorts at the following 3 uninhabited islands & plot of land in an uninhabited island;

· Alidhuffarufinolhu in Haa Alifu Atoll
· Kudalhaimendhoo in Shaviyani Atoll
· Kunnamalei in Noonu Atoll
· Plot of land measuring 15 hectares located at Vaikaramuraidhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll

An information session will be held virtually for interest parties via ZOOM on 14^th January 2021 (Thursday). If you wish to join the session, the Ministry instructs to send an email detailing your name email address and phone number to planning@tourism.gov.mv before 2pm on the 13^th January 2021 (Wednesday).

Bid document will be made available for purchase from 31^st December 2020 to 04^th March 2021 between 9am to 1pm on all days except for government holidays from Ministry of Tourism (Velaanage 5^th Floor) reception.
