MD & CEO of Ooredoo Maldives Proudly Grabs a Perfectly Deserved Title at the ACES 2020

Local telecommunications company, Ooredoo Maldives, excels at the services they provide without a doubt. Obviously, this would have not been achieved without the guidance of a great leader, and Ooredoo Maldives, has just that. The CEO & Managing Director of the company, Mr. Najib Khan, is a capable leader inspiring many people, not just in the Maldives, but also worldwide. This testament is supported with his win at this year’s Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES) as the Asia’s Most Inspiring Leaders Award.

ACES is one of the most prestigious accolades that recognizes inspiring leaders and sustainability advocates cross-industry and across Asia.

Mr. Najib Khan took over as the CEO of Ooredoo Maldives in the year 2017. He was appointed as the Managing Director in 2019.

Under his guidance, Ooredoo Maldives, has achieved many successful strides. Notably, the company won big at this year’s Stevie Awards, bagging multiple titles including winning the Gold Stevie for the Company of the Year in Telecommunications. They were also crowned the ‘Best Investor Relations Company Maldives’ at the Global Banking & Finance Awards 2020.

Just last week, Ooredoo Maldives have also commenced the provision of 5G services in the Maldives for the first time.
