Dhiraagu and MOMS Aid Join Forces for “Back to School 2024”

Dhiraagu, as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, has partnered with MOMS Aid to support the “Back to School 2024” program. This initiative aims to provide essential school supplies to children from some of the most vulnerable families in the Maldives.
The primary goal of the “Back to School 2024” program is to aid widowed and single mothers who lack extended family support. This support extends to mothers with special needs and those caring for sick children or children with disabilities. By offering this assistance, Dhiraagu and MOMS Aid hope to ease the financial burden these families face as the new academic year approaches.
The school packs provided through this program will include shoes, socks, uniforms, bags, and stationery supplies. These packs are intended for families struggling to prepare their children for school. Dhiraagu’s contribution specifically targets children in the Foundation Stage (Pre-school levels), a critical period in a child’s education. The program aims to ensure these children have the essential materials they need to begin the school year successfully.
