Marriott International Maldives and NAP: Your Gateway to a Hospitality Career!

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment Information and Arts proudly announces the launch of applications for the National Apprenticeship Program (NAP) in partnership with Marriott International Maldives. This initiative offers Maldivian youth an exclusive chance to acquire valuable skills and kick-start a rewarding journey in hospitality.
Seven prestigious Marriott properties in the Maldives, including Sheraton Maldives, JW Marriott Maldives, and W Maldives, are part of this apprenticeship program. Following the success of the inaugural cohort, which saw 43 graduates, with 21 already employed within Marriott International Maldives, the program is now open for new applicants.
Offering diverse specializations like front office operations, housekeeping, and commercial cookery, the Marriott International Maldives Apprenticeship Program (MIMAP) blends classroom learning with practical experience at Marriott properties. This hands-on approach equips apprentices with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in their chosen fields.
The National Apprenticeship Program is a key initiative of the Ministry of Youth Empowerment Information and Arts, aiming to empower Maldivian youth and bolster the hospitality sector, crucial to the Maldives' economy. Interested candidates can learn more at the Open Day on April 18th at the Maldives Institute of Technology from 11 am to 3 pm. To apply, email your resume to sh.mlesi.apprenticeship@marriott.com.
