Qatar Airways Promises Its Passengers a Full Year of Flexibility for the Upcoming Year

Multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways, has made a promise of flexibility for its passengers in the upcoming year. The new policy will allow for travelers to travel with ease, as global travel policies continue to change due to the ongoing pandemic.

Consequent to this initiative, passengers flying with the airline will now receive unlimited date changes and fee-free refunds on all tickets issued before 30^th April 2021, for travel completed by 31 December 2021. Passengers can also exchange their tickets for a voucher with 10% additional value for future travel instead of a refund which will be made a permanent feature for all tickets booked via their website. 

Presently, Qatar Airways is actively working on rebuilding its global network which currently stands at over 100 destinations increasing to 126 by March 2021. With additional frequencies being added to key hubs, the airline offers unrivalled connectivity to passengers, making it easy for them to change their travel dates or destination if they need to.

The airline stresses that when travelling with them on the upcoming year, passengers can expect the highest levels of safety throughout their journey. A whopping 99.9% of its passengers travelled ‘COVID-19 free’, despite travel being considered a health risk this year. The airline’s onboard safety measures include of the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their cabin crew and a complimentary protective kit and disposable face shields for passengers.

Qatar Airways operates daily flights to Maldives and is the carrier which brings in the most number of tourists into the country.
