Tree Top Hospital Hosts Insightful CME Session on "Approach to Cytopenia"

Tree Top Hospital recently organized a significant Continuing Medical Education (CME) session titled "Approach to Cytopenia" on February 10, 2024, led by Dr. Sachin Jadhav, Senior Consultant Hematologist. The session delved into the diagnosis and management of cytopenia, a condition characterized by low levels of one or more blood cell types.
Featuring a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Sachin Jadhav, the session saw the participation of esteemed experts including Dr. Mohamed Amru, Specialist Oncologist, Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, Consultant Internal Medicine, Dr. Kamal Raj Soti, Specialist Oncologist, and Ms. Juweiriya Saeed, Chairperson of Cancer Society, who shared valuable insights.
Cytopenia, marked by reduced levels of red blood cells, white blood cells, or platelets, poses significant challenges in clinical practice. Its etiology encompasses a spectrum of factors including infections, medications, autoimmune diseases, and bone marrow disorders.
