Hussain Luwaiz Takes the Helm as Managing Director at Allied Insurance

In a significant leadership transition, Hussain Luwaiz has been appointed as the Managing Director of Allied Insurance, a subsidiary of STO. With an impressive 21-year tenure at Allied Insurance, Luwaiz previously served as the Manager of the Claims section. His wealth of experience and a chartered insurance certificate from the UK's Chartered Insurance Institute positions him well for the new role.
Founded in 1985 in partnership with STO and the UK's Commercial Union Insurance, Allied Insurance has grown to become the largest provider of insurance services in the Maldives. Luwaiz takes over the reins from Mohamed Shafaz, marking a new chapter for the company.
