In a bid to cultivate a love for aviation among the youth, Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) recently organized interactive familiarization trips for students from Gdh. Faresmaathoda Huvadhoo School, Dhaalu Maaen’boodhoo School, and Brightway International School. The initiative aimed to provide students with a unique and hands-on understanding of TMA's seaplane services and operational facilities.
During these visits, students engaged in interactive learning sessions conducted by TMA's key departments, delving into the functions and responsibilities crucial for the seamless operation of the world's largest seaplane operations. Team members from Business Development, Human Resources, Safety & Security, Quality & Compliance, Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO), and Flight Operations led these informative sessions, addressing questions related to job roles, educational paths, and career opportunities.
Following the educational sessions, the students embarked on personalized tours of TMA's facilities, exploring Guest Lounges, Boarding Gates, Seaplane Docks, and gaining insight into the world-class Maintenance Organization. The initiative aimed to provide invaluable insights into the daily workflows and operations of TMA.
Trans Maldivian Airways has a history of supporting local schools through educational visits, offering students a practical understanding of various job roles within the aviation industry.
