A Fourth PikPost Station in the Greater Male’ Area Established By Maldives Post Limited

PikPost by Maldives Post Limited is an ingenious delivery service introduced to provide customers a quick, secure and a reliable way of delivering packages that allows customers to collect the packages 24hrs throughout the week through self-serving stations.

With the aim of modernizing postal services in the country and providing customers with ease and convenience, on Saturday, an additional PikPost station was opened, which is located at the Greater Male’ Terminal. This is the 4th PikPost station to be established in the Greater Male’ Region. The newly established station was inaugurated by the Minister of Communication Science & Technology, Mr. Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal.

Speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director of Maldives Post Limited notes that expanding their PikPost services is in accordance with Maldives Post Limited’s strategic goals, and the company has reiterated its belief that it will bring greater ease to customers. He additionally notes that the company is currently working on establishing two more PikPost stations in the Greater Male’ Region.

Postal services in the Maldives was introduced in 1906. Over the 114 years, postal services witnessed phases of development and played a vital role as a basic communication medium in the Maldives for many decades. Maldives Post Limited is fully owned by the government with a mandate of providing postal service across the country and abroad.
