Dhiraagu, the leading telecommunications provider, has embarked on a digital partnership journey with the #GirlsCan campaign, a collaborative effort led by NETFIT Netball Australia, Green Streets Netball, and MV Netters. As the Digital Partner, Dhiraagu aims to champion the development of netball in the Maldives and empower girls through sports.
NETFIT Netball, recognized as the world's premier netball digital program boasting over 100,000 members globally, aligns its #GirlsCan campaign with Dhiraagu's commitment to youth empowerment. Over the next three weeks, elite Australian netballers, including Sarah Wall, CEO & Founder of NETFIT, and Sharni Norder, will conduct on-site training programs. These include clinics for netball academies, coaching workshops, and sessions with netball clubs and the Maldivian national netball team.
The initiative extends beyond elite training, with mass classes planned for schools, providing young players the opportunity to learn new skills, teamwork, and build confidence through physical activity.
Dhiraagu's involvement in the #GirlsCan campaign resonates with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focus on empowering young people and preparing them for the future. The company remains committed to developing Maldivian sports, enhancing local athletes' skills, and fostering community strength through initiatives like #GirlsCan.
