The much-anticipated opening of Vinares flat submissions faced an unexpected hurdle as technical difficulties emerged, causing Urbanco to temporarily suspend the application process.
Urbanco, in a statement, acknowledged the challenges encountered during the online application process and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to users. The corporation received a significant number of complaints from applicants who experienced difficulty accessing the portal.
While some applicants managed to upload their documents within 20 to 30 minutes, others encountered hours of inaccessibility. As a result, Urbanco has opted to halt submissions until the technical issues are resolved.
Once the portal concerns are addressed, Urbanco plans to announce a new date for resuming Vinares flat purchases. For updates or inquiries, individuals can reach out to Urbanco's hotline at 1516.
On the initial opening day, all available flats were sold out within thirty minutes. Today, Urbanco will re-open submissions exclusively for flats that were canceled due to incomplete document submissions.
The Vinares housing project comprises 1,344 three-room flats across ten 13-storey towers. Of these, approximately 120 were released on the opening day, with 1,063 flats in varying stages of processing and only 281 booked. No additional flats were made available on the portal.
Prospective buyers have the option to acquire Vinares flats through lump sum payments or opt for lease-to-rent arrangements, with rental periods extending from 20 to 25 years.
