Dhiraagu, a pioneering force in the Maldivian telecommunications sector, recently held a special ceremony to commemorate the invaluable contributions of its long-serving staff, who have been integral to the company's journey over the past 35 years.
The event, graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Ilyas Ahmed, Chief Executive of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM), and Mr. Ismail Waheed, Chairperson of Dhiraagu’s Board of Directors, was a testament to the company's commitment to recognizing its dedicated workforce.
A total of 22 staff members, who have been part of Dhiraagu since its establishment in 1988, were acknowledged and presented with special plaques in honor of their steadfast dedication.
Furthermore, the occasion witnessed the digital launch of Dhiraagu's 35th-anniversary photo book, titled 'Leading the Digital Transformation Journey of the Maldives', which chronicles the significant milestones achieved by the company over the past three decades in building the national digital infrastructure of the Maldives.
The event also featured a special lucky draw, with staff having the chance to win valuable prizes, alongside a vibrant array of entertainment activities.
