Historic Triumph: Maldives Welcomes Victorious IOIG 2023 Contingent

A triumphant homecoming awaited the Maldivian athletes who made history at the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) 2023, as President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed led a grand reception ceremony at the Republic Square.

The Maldives' remarkable performance at IOIG 2023 stands as a testament to the government's unwavering commitment to sports development.
