Maabaidhoo and Maavah Islands. The president's presence during the inauguration ceremonies underscored the administration's steadfast commitment to bolstering development across the Maldives.
The power of progress was palpable as President Solih unveiled the newly developed powerhouse on Maabaidhoo Island. This technological marvel boasts an impressive power generation capacity of 980 kilowatts, heralding a new era of dependable and efficient energy supply for the island's residents. Alongside this achievement, the cutting-edge FENAKA office also opened its doors, heralding a new chapter in infrastructure excellence.
Maavah Island, too, experienced a transformational upgrade under the expert hands of Altec Maldives Pvt. Ltd. The island's water supply network now stands fortified and resilient, ensuring residents have access to a consistent and dependable water source. Not to be outdone, the harbor on Maavah Island has been enhanced by the adept work of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC). The project saw the deepening of the harbor basin, construction of a sturdy 284-meter breakwater, a 110-meter quay wall, and a 40-meter revetment, all aimed at optimizing maritime operations and connectivity.
President Solih's leadership has been instrumental in achieving remarkable strides in equitable development across the Maldives' inhabited islands.
