Two Maldivians Youths have been selected for ‘e-Goal’

Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has partnered up with Aurora for Training and Development, a Jordan based youth development organization, to launch a ground-breaking pilot project titled ‘e-Goal’, which aims to create Youth Social Responsibility Ambassadors as part of its Mission to use football as a tool for social development.
Football Association of Maldives has confirmed that amongst 60 participants from over 30 Asian countries gearing up for ‘e-Goal’ is two exemplary youth of our own, Mohamed Faalil Faaiq and Aishath Siuna. Mohamed Faail Faaiq is a central midfield in the Under 16 Maldives National Football Team and Aishath Siuna is a midfielder and also a defender in the Under 19 Maldives National Football Team.

The ‘e-Goal’ program will include a series of guests-speakers from reputable non-governmental and sports for development organizations who will share their expertise and help promote the initiative. The program is specifically held virtually in the in the light of the global health hazard, the outbreak of COVID-19.  
The schedule of the program consists of nine interactive workshops and upon completing the program participants will be awarded an ’AFC Youth Social Responsibility Ambassador Certificate and will be supported by Aurora Team and Network to implement Social Responsibility Initiatives Locally.
Coaches of both Mohamed Faalil Faaiq and Aishath Siuna has nothing but praise for both the 17 year olds We have no doubt that two of them will make us proud.
