The closing ceremony, hosted at Maradhoo Bandharu, was graced by distinguished guests, including Addu City Mayor Ali Nizar. Amid the gathering, the atmosphere brimmed with anticipation and celebration, marking the conclusion of a riveting contest.

The path to victory for Team Fehurihi was paved with determination and excellence, earning them the coveted championship title. Their remarkable score of 220.9 points secured them a well-deserved MVR25,000 cash prize. The competition was no easy feat, with Team Hondeli securing the runner-up position, amassing an impressive total of 141.6 points. The third spot was claimed by Team Baracuda, who amassed 131.9 points, further attesting to the fierce rivalry and talent showcased in this electrifying event.

Naja from Team Fehurihi stood tall as the Heaviest Catch champion, reeling in a magnificent 5.5kg Wahoo (Kurumas). Individual brilliance shone as Ibrahim Abdulla from Team Happy Market secured the title of Best Fisherman, contributing seven successful catches to his team's tally. Meanwhile, the prowess of Azlifa Azeez from Team Fehurihi was celebrated, as she emerged as the Best Fisherwoman, skillfully reeling in four remarkable catches.

As the Addu City chapter concludes, the stage is set for the grand finale in Fuvahmulah City on August 25, 2023. This year's Ooredoo Masrace, in celebration of Ooredoo Maldives’ 18th Anniversary, has bridged communities and regions, expanding its footprint to encompass Male' City, Kulhudhuffushi City, Addu City, and Fuvahmulah City.
