Binveriya Housing Scheme Promises Land Plots within Current Presidential Term

The Binveriya Housing scheme has gained momentum as the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure affirms its commitment to provide land plots before the conclusion of the current presidential term. This move marks a significant stride towards resolving housing challenges.

With the release of the final recipient list for the Binveriya scheme, the administration attains a crucial milestone in the selection process. The list, now accessible in the Government Gazette, represents a comprehensive culmination of rigorous scrutiny and thoughtful considerations.

At a press conference, Minister of State Akram Kamaaluddin unveiled the procedural details to finalize the beneficiary list. Drawing lots among recipients, land allotments in Hulhumale' and Gulhifalhu are set to commence this week.

A noteworthy count of 19,631 individuals have been recognized as eligible under the Binveriyaa scheme. Among them, 18,948 are poised to receive a share of the currently available 9,003 land plots. This culmination follows meticulous reviews of the preliminary beneficiary list and a thorough assessment of concerns and queries.
