A significant step towards advancing healthcare in the Maldives was taken as State Trading Organization (STO) unveiled the introduction of Nihon Kohden ventilators and G-5 monitors, renowned healthcare solutions from Japan.
The launch event, graced by Japanese Ambassador to the Maldives, Takeuchi Midori, unfolded at Crossroads Maldives on August 13. These state-of-the-art offerings are poised to elevate medical services across various hospital departments, including intensive care units (ICUs) and operating theaters.
To ensure seamless integration, STO initiated a specialized training program, extending to August 16, aimed at acquainting doctors and nurses with the new products. This training imparts in-depth knowledge of the equipment's features, user manuals, and optimal usage strategies for treating patients with diverse medical conditions.
STO's efforts underscore the commitment to elevating the quality of healthcare services in the Maldives, marking a positive stride toward improved patient care and medical outcomes.
