The Newly Appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Korea Presents His Credentials

On Friday, the newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Hassan Sobir presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol. The credential-presenting ceremony took place at the Yongsan Presidential Office in Seoul, Korea during the afternoon hours.

At the ceremony, Ambassador Hassan Sobir conveyed his warm greetings from the President and the people of the Maldives to the President and the People of the Republic of Korea. He also affirmed his commitment to working closely with the Government of Korea during his tenure with a renewed focus on consolidating bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During his official visit to Korea, Ambassador Hassan Sobir met with senior government officials of the country and explored avenues of further enhancing opportunities and cooperation between the Maldives and Korea. During his visit, Ambassador Sobir was accompanied by Shafraz Rasheed, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives in Japan.
