TTH’s Nursing Scholarship Program: Investing in Local Talent

Owing to popular demand for nursing and Tree Top Hospital (TTH)’s commitment to patient care, TTH has announced the return of its Nursing Scholarship Program which will cater to students pursuing Diploma and Undergraduate Degrees in Nursing at Villa College (VC). The Nursing Scholarship Program was initially launched in 2022 as a means of developing and encouraging the growth of local talent. By providing this scholarship opportunity, TTH is dedicated to supporting aspiring nurses in pursuing their career goals and contributing to the healthcare industry.

Unequivocally, facilitating healthcare services throughout hospital management is majorly performed by nurses. Since its inauguration, TTH has undertaken continuous recruitment of field specialist nurses from registered nurses to Midwives in an effort to support the different medical disciplines which are offered at the hospital.

As a hospital that places great emphasis on empowering local nurses through their continued education and training, this scholarship opportunity will help nurture and broaden their skills further by developing a better comprehension of delivering commendable care for patients. As such, TTH remains optimistic about extending support to both new and existing nursing students in their academic pursuits and training beyond in the future.

Interested candidates can seek scholarship opportunities for the following courses:
·BSc (Hons) Nursing (International) Top-up,
September 2023 Intake (2 Slots)
· Diploma in Nursing (3 years),
September 2023 Intake (5 Slots)

Eligibility Criteria
· Placement in the respective course:
a.The applicant should be a Maldivian Citizen.
b.The applicant must secure admission in the approved Nursing program at VC as per the admission policy of the institution and be enrolled in the respective program.
       i.BSc Nursing (2 years)
       i. Diploma in Nursing (3 years)
c.Applicant could be a new or continuing student.
d. Applicant should not be availing of any other educational scholarship from any other institution.
