On Tuesday, Dhiraagu entered an agreement with Club Maldives to become their exclusive Digital Partner for the year 2023. As a non-governmental organization registered since 2005, Club Maldives has been known to host some of the largest and most prestigious futsal tournaments in the Maldives. Their main goal is to develop futsal among the Maldivian community and foster friendship between the government/company staff.
Under this partnership, Dhiraagu will support Club Maldives to host four tournaments this year. This includes 18/30 Thirty Classic 2023, Eighteen Thirty 2023, Club Maldives Cup Classic 2023 and Club Maldives 2023. From this lineup, 18/30 will be the first event women’s futsal tournament held across the country and Dhiraagu is excited to see this new addition to this year’s series of scheduled tournaments, serving its core focus area of women empowerment.
The two men’s division tournaments organized by Club Maldives: Club Maldives Cup and Club Maldives Cup Classic – and the two women’s division tournaments: 18/30 Fiesta and 18/30 Classic will take place concurrently on 14 July 2023. Dhiraagu is dedicated to collaborate and extend support to the tournaments in line with its commitment to empower youth and strengthen communities through sports and recreation.
