BML Opens Applications for Second Phase of Community Fund 2023

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened the opportunity for local Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to submit proposals for the second phase of the Community Fund this year. All registered NGOs based in Male’ and islands are eligible to apply for the fund before 11:59 pm on 10th August 2023.

In the second phase, the Community Fund will be providing funds up to MVR 50,000 to 10 NGOs for their winning proposals. The projects highlighted in the proposals must relate to the areas of environment, education, sports and community development. Similar to previous editions, a total of 20 projects will be funded throughout the year.

Interested NGOs are now open to email their proposals and application form to community@bml.com.mv. As a program incepted to empower NGOs to give back to their communities through sustainable projects, the Community Fund has actively granted funding to over 90 projects conducted nationwide.
