Together with industry partners, Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has taken part in several travel and tourism related events this year to marketing related purposes and reestablishing the presence of Maldives as holiday destination across all parts of the world. In this regard, they have announced that they would be taking part in another such event; the Travel Meet Asia (TMA) Series.

This a virtual travel roadshow taking place in four-part and organized by ITV Asia, focusing on the different parts of Asia; South Asia, Southeast Asia, Mice & Corporate and Northeast Asia. It is a platform which will allow B2B meetings with key buyers in addition to outstanding conferences which gather leading brands in the industry.
The first TMA event, TMA – South Asia, is an exclusive venue to meet buyers and sellers from this region and obtain valuable business opportunities. During the meetings, the latest updates regarding safety measures put in the place and how the unique geographical formation of Maldives makes is a safe haven will be stressed on. The two-day event will be attended by a total of seven Maldivian tourism companies accompanied by MMPRC.

Prior to the TMA Series, to visibility in this South Asian region, MMPRC has participated in the in the SATTE GenX. Additionally, several marketing activities have also been conducted, specifically focusing on the Indian market as it the country places at 2nd in terms of tourist arrivals since the border reopening.
