The Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference has come to a conclusion after participants departed, following the completion of the sidelines activities staged in 8 locations of the Maldives. The conference was organized by Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and brought together luminous dignitaries including international speakers, content creators, journalists, bloggers, and industry professionals from all over the world to experience the power of storytelling and the beautiful landscapes of the Sunny Side of Life.
The conference took place at CROSSROADS Maldives and featured a one-of-a-kind gathering. Afterward, the participants embarked on a truly memorable adventure across 8 pre-selected regions of the Maldives, each defined by its unique charm and exhilarating experience. The discovery journey took them to Raa, Laamu, Ari, Vaavu, Haa Alifu and Haa Dhaalu Atolls and even pulled stops at Kaafu, Addu and Fuvahmulah Atolls. During these visits, the conference attendees were immersed in the unique culture, heritage, and flavours characterized by each atoll.
The Visit Maldives Storytellers’ Conference 2023 proved to be an innovative concept, inviting content creators and industry professionals to explore the Maldives in a different and authentic way. By highlighting the diverse regions and the otherworldly experiences they provide, the conference hopes to paint the Maldives as a destination simply more than the sun, sand and sea. Through this, the truly exclusive offerings of our destination were introduced to participants that have helped shape the ‘Redefine MICE’ concept.
The participants will act as ambassadors, recounting and sharing their firsthand experiences through compelling narratives that channel the power of storytelling. These captivating stories will resonate with their global audiences, inspiring more travelers to lead their own unique journeys in the Maldives while nurturing a deeper connection and appreciation of the natural beauty, cultural heritage and celebrated warm hospitality of the Maldives.
