Bank of Maldives Inaugurates Self-Service Banking In Two Islands Of Noonu Atoll

Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced Self Service Banking ATM Centres in Maafaru and Miladhoo islands in Noonu Atoll. This initiative aligns with the Bank’s strategy to expand its banking services to all parts of the Maldives to better support local island communities.

The newly inaugurated ATM centres on both islands will enable residents and businesses to conveniently withdraw, deposit and transfer money around the clock. The opening of these ATM centres further bolsters BML’s banking services in Noonu which already has one Self-Service Banking Centre in Kendhikulhudhoo and branch services in Manadhoo, Velidhoo and Holhudhoo islands respectively.

BML’s CEO & Managing Director, Karl Stumke remarked, “Our focus remains steadfast as we continue our investment to provide accessible banking services. We are delighted to support the people, businesses and economy of these islands as part of our network expansion.”

BML currently manages a nationwide network of 38 branches, 87 Self Service Banking Centres, 143 ATMs and more than 200 agents. In addition to this, the Bank also provides a full suite of Digital Banking services to elevate and support the banking experiences of individuals, businesses, and communities across the Maldives.
