The Vice President Departs for Bangladesh to Take Part in the ICO 2023

On Wednesday, Vice President Faisal Naseem departed for Bangladesh to attend the sixth Indian Ocean Conference (IOC) 2023. The conference will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh from the 12^th-13^th of May 2023.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Peace, Prosperity, and Partnership for a Resilient Future’. This theme aims to unite prominent stakeholders in order to chart the roadmap to strengthen regional cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region. As part of the two-day conference, the Vice President will deliver remarks at the inaugural session.

On the sidelines of IOC 2023, Vice President Faisal Naseem will also be hosting meetings with high-level dignitaries and visiting the Maldivian community that resides in Bangladesh.
