Dhiraagu Signs As Platinum Sponsor For The 7th ABU Media Summit 2023

Dhiraagu has signed as the Platinum Sponsor for the ABU Media Summit 2023 which is currently taking place at CROSSROADS Maldives from 9^th-10^th May 2023. This summit is being hosted by Public Service Media (PSM) together with the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU)- the largest broadcasting union in the world with more than 253 members based in 67 countries.

This year’s theme for the summit is ‘From Atolls to Alps and Arid Lands: Communicating the Climate Change Challenge’. The theme underscores the instrumental role played by the media in addressing climate action and disaster prevention. In addition to this, the theme also sheds light on the most recent climate science findings and challenges faced by broadcasters in bringing this information and various issues centric to it to the public.

Dhiraagu remains committed to extending support to programmes and events that focus on caring for the environment which is also a core focus of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
