Ooredoo Maldives Opens Registration For Fun-Filled Ooredoo Boki Boalha Tournament!

In collaboration with Maziya Sports & Recreation Club, Ooredoo Maldives has introduced the Ooredoo Boki Boalha tournament, bringing a fun twist to conventional football with bumper balls. This exciting sports event will add a different layer of excitement and enthusiasm to the world’s no.1 sport as players compete against each other wearing a voluminous bumper ball.

Corporates itching to experience this one-of-a-kind event can sign up for the tournament via http://ore.do/bokiboalha latest by 1st April 2023 before 11:59 pm. With sensational prizes presented to top teams, the tournament will kick off on 6th April 2023 at the Henveiru Stadium.

Running till 8th April 2023, twelve participating teams will be grouped into four, with the top team from each group advancing to the semi-finals. Each team will then compete for the championship title. If more than 12 teams register, teams will be decided via a lucky draw. Each team must comprise 8 players and a maximum of 3 officials, with 5 players on the pitch at any given time.

Each match in the tournament will take place over two halves with a 3-minute break in between the halves. The full time for any match will be 10 minutes. During the group stage matches, three points will be gained for wins while one point is awarded for draws. In the knockout stage, if two teams are tied a penalty shootout will determine the winner of the game.

Teams that deliver stunning performances will be rewarded with thrilling prizes. The first-place team will receive an impressive cash money of MVR 20,000 while the runner-up will be granted MVR 10,000. As for the second runner-up, they will also receive MVR 5000 as a prize.
