On Saturday, Housing Development Corporation (HDC) signed contract agreements with six businesses to develop restaurants and cafes in the location where both phase 1 and phase 2 connect. The contract agreements were signed as per HDC’s visionary plan for the area under the Urban Boulevard Development Project.
During the signing ceremony held at Meeruma Hotel, the six businesses that signed with the corporation are Brothers Catering, RefCool, Celsius Private Limited, Misraabu Private Limited, Dinemore Restaurant and Dreams Private Limited. The agreement was signed between representatives of the enterprises and the Chief Financial Officer of HDC, Ahmed Shaam. All six agreements were facilitated under design and built contracts.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Financial Officer of HDC stated that once the urban boulevard is completed, the area will demonstrate the level of development in Hulhumale’ and will pave way for a stronger and connected society. Speaking further, he remarked that the boulevard will serve as a one-stop solution for many services and will become a popular area to spend quality time with family and friends.
In addition to café’ & restaurants, plans to establish a children’s park, outdoor gym and other essential facilities are underway. Highlighting fusion-style dining, all dining venues located on the boulevard will be built in an environmentally conscious manner that preserves the natural surrounding beauty of the Urban boulevard.
