On Monday, President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with the President of the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency Aleksandar Vučić. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC5) held in Doha, Qatar.
During the meeting, the President and the Serbian President hosted extensive discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The two leaders exchanged dialogues on various areas of mutual interest and explored avenues of cooperation and collaboration in those areas.
Moreover, President Solih and President Vučić also ventured to discuss the agreements that are going to be signed between the two countries and recognized the importance to proceed with them. The meeting concluded with both sides expressing hopes of renewing friendship and cross-sector cooperation between the two nations.
President Solih is currently on a three-country official visit. In his next leg of the visit, President Solih is scheduled to arrive in Serbia following the conference, where key agreements will be signed between the two countries. Afterwards, he will arrive in Germany before concluding the official visit.
