Bank of Maldives Honors Long Serving Employees at Long Service Awards 2020

Bank of Maldives Plc (BML) is the largest local bank operating in country and takes exceptional pride in the fact that 99% of their employee base is proud Maldivians. Effectively, this also makes them one of the largest employers in the Maldives.

The Bank hosted an event last night in order to honor and celebrate the loyalty of its long serving employees. Awards were presented to a total of thirty-three staffs who have been with the Bank for 15, 20, 25, and 35 years. Notably, Mr Mohamed Ahmed; Head of Procurement Department, and Mr. Hassan Shaam; Head of Properties and Administration Department, received a special commendation for having served the Bank for 35 years. Other standout honorees included of Mr. Abdulla Saeed; Senior Paralefal and Ms. Hanima Naseem, Gamu Breach Managers, both who had served the Bank for 25 years.


Speaking at the ceremony, CEO & Managing Director of BML, Mr. Tim Sawyer expressed that it was an honor to give due recognition for those who have committed so many years serving the Bank, and extended his gratitude for each and every one of the award winners.
