He added that Kudagiri Picnic Island will pave way for strengthened familial bonds in the future and allow families and friends to spend quality time together. The public could travel to the island free of charge on weekends.

The Kudagiri Picnic Island was built with accessibility features in mind, allowing disabled persons to enjoy the facilities and services provided by the island. Some of the featured facilities on Kudagiri include recreational futsal and volleyball courts, water slides and a children's park. The island also has an onsite mosque, changing rooms, retail shops, barbecue pits and huts as well as safety and security measures in place.
