The Vice President Inaugurates General Practice Clinic in Hulhumale’ Phase II

On Thursday, Vice President Faisal Naseem officially inaugurated the General Practice Clinic by Hulhumale’ Hospital in Hulhumale’ Phase II. The GP clinic is located on the ground floor of Hiya Tower 16. Following the inauguration, the Vice President toured the facility and inspected the various services provided at the clinic.

Speaking at the function, the Vice President highlighted that the administration’s highest priority was facilitating easy access to healthcare services. In this regard, he added the opening of the clinic would grant access to primary healthcare services for the tenants of the Hiya towers. He also reaffirmed the administration's commitment to establishing other essential services in the neighbourhood.

During his address, he also recalled the benefits the GP clinic would bring and noted the administration’s continued commitment to improving healthcare services across the country. He further stated it was possible by developing healthcare centres and regional and atoll hospitals in various parts of the country.

The GP Clinic is equipped with several necessary facilities. Some of the featured services include laboratory services, nebulization, ECG, immunization, child development monitoring and vaccination services. Additionally, a State Trading Organization (STO) Pharmacy will also be located within the clinic. The clinic will be open on all weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
