Under its nationwide service expansion, the Bank of Maldives (BML) has launched Self-Service Banking ATM Centre on Mathiveri island in Alifu Alifu Atoll. The new ATM Centre will cater to several services including cash withdrawal and deposit and transfer of money on a 24/7 basis. This introduction will further support various businesses conducted on the island as well as conveniently address all the banking needs of the island residents.
With this new investment, BML further consolidates its presence in Alifu Alifu Atoll with multiple Self-Service Banking Centres and a branch in the province. The branch is located on Rasdhoo island whereas Banking Centres are established in Thoddoo, Ukulhas and Mathiveri.
Commenting on the introduction in AA Mathiveri, BML’s CEO & Managing Director, Karl Stumke said “We are delighted to support the community of Mathiveri with the new Self Service Banking Centre. This centre will allow individuals and businesses access to convenient banking services without the need to travel to a nearby branch. We are now proud to have more than 140 ATMs spread across the country, representing the widest banking network.”
BML currently boasts a large portfolio of 35 branches, 83 Self-Service Banking Centres, 141 ATMs and 200+ agents all across the country. The network is complemented by Digital Banking Services which continue to extend support to individuals, businesses and communities all over the Maldives.
