Foundation Laid For The Construction of 50 Row House in GA. Villingili

The founding laying ceremony was held to initiate the construction of 50 housing units on Villingili island in Gaafu Alifu Atoll. The foundation was laid by the State Minister for National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, Akram Kamaluddin together with the Member of Parliament for Villingili, Saud Hussain and the council members of the island.

The construction of the 50 housing units was awarded to Donbeys Private Limited in June of last year. Under the housing project, 50-row houses of 700 acres will be built and finished. Upon completion, each housing unit will constitute 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, laundry, and a storeroom.

In addition to this, in the efforts of providing a pleasant ambience lighting of the units and a park as well as a designated parking zone will be established. This in turn would bring great convenience to the residents settling in the housing units. The project is contracted to be completed in 270 days on a design and built basis.
