This year is definitely the year where I have met more volunteers than on any previous occasion. Volunteers are definitely some of the nicest people you can meet on earth. Being a volunteer means that you are offering something that is not required or obligated by you. It is all about doing good, whether in large scaled or small scaled actions. Volunteers are celebrated all over the world. In fact, there is a United Nations' mandated day to do as well; being every 5th of November.

Of course, taking one day to appreciate volunteers is not enough by any means. Hence, today, for us, is going to be about encouraging volunteerism. For this purpose, we have a compiled a short list of 5 local organizations at which you can begin your volunteerism journey along with a quick insight to the work they carry out.
