Parts of Hulhule’ Lagoon And Roads To Close For VVIP Movement

On the 15^th of January and 17^th of January 2023, several areas of the Hulhule’ lagoon and some roads will be closed to make way for a VVIP movement. The timings for road and lagoon closure are:

15^th January 2023 – 9:00 am to 11:00 am
17^th January 2023- 7:30 am to 8:30 am

On these days and particular timings, the MACL staff bus and MTCC bus will stop at the Western Parking Area (A) whereas the MACL ferry will moor at the Western Parking Area’s adjacent harbour (B). Other sea vessels can only enter and exit the lagoon from the southernmost channel (C) at these hours. Moreover, the north corner of the International Terminal to the north corner of the Domestic Terminal will also be closed off during these hours.

As for sea vessels moored between the channel in front of the Cargo Terminal (E) and the channel in front of President’s Jetty (D) must be removed from the vicinity depicted in the diagram prior to 1 hour before the aforementioned timings. As for vehicles and pedestrians near the proximity of the marked zone, they must adhere to the commands of the security personnel when using the roads at these hours.
