Ministry of Education Contracts The Construction Of A Building In Kendhikulhudhoo School

The Ministry of Education of Maldives has awarded the contract to construct a three-storey building in Kendhikulhudhoo School in Noonu Atoll. The project was awarded to Wee Hour Investment Private Limited. During the signing ceremony, the Senior Policy Director of the Ministry of Education, Naushad Ibrahim signed on behalf of the ministry while the Project Manager of Wee Hour Investment Pvt Ltd, Sadheem Ibrahim represented the company.

As part of the contract agreement, Wee Hour Investment will be facilitating the construction of a three-storey tall building at the school within 400 days (approximately 1 year and 1 month). The project is valued at MVR 11,084,571.72 million and will be undertaken by utilizing the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) budget for 2022

The Ministry of Education has been building infrastructure and increasing the capacity of many schools across the country using the PSIP budget. The educational sector is prioritized under the current administration with numerous efforts focused on the development of the sector.
