HDC Invites Interested Parties To Submit EOIs For Urban Isle Guesthouses

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has invited interested proponents to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) for the establishment and operation of Guesthouses in Urban Isle. The Urban Isle is a game-changing master plan that aims to introduce Integrated Tourism to the Maldives. To be developed on the Northernmost side of Hulhumale’ the area will be home to a range of contemporary properties including high-end and midscale hotels to luxury villas and guesthouses.

In the initial phase of the project, HDC will be developing the guesthouses and has now announced 15 land plots for interested parties to submit their two-stage EOIs. A single proponent can submit an EOI for a maximum of 2 plots and each EOI must be submitted separately. If more than one proposal is received for the same plot, HDC would proceed with a closed bidding process between all the interested parties.

The deadline for submission of EOIs is 1400 hrs on 19^th January 2023. The EOI should be submitted via e-mail at info@urbanisle.com. HDC stated that it reserved the right to accept and reject any proposal and annul the EOI process without incurring any liability to the applicants.
