HDC Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Huawei To Support Smart-City Initiative

On Monday, Housing Development Corporation Ltd (HDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Lanka Pvt Ltd to pursue collaborations aligning with HDC’s smart city initiative. As per this MoU, Huawei will be providing technical expertise to the corporation in the design and implementation of smart city solutions in Hulhumale’.

Huawei is a world-renowned brand that is at the forefront of information and communications technology infrastructure and the manufacture of smart devices. As such, HDC firmly believes that this partnership with the company will bring numerous advancements to its smart city initiative, by being able to acquire the necessary expertise and digital solutions needed to mold Hulhumale’ into Maldives’ first smart city.
