Direct Cargo Ferry Kicks Off Between Dubai and Maldives

Maldives State Shipping (MSS) is a shipping and logistics company launched this year in the Maldives, offering an extensive international liner shipping service. Via socials media today, the company has announced the direct cargo ferry service between Dubai and Maldives has commenced.

As per MSS, the operation is run in collaboration with their agents based in Dubai. Cargo consolidation. cargo collection and Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than a Container Load (LCL) will be facilitated for customers as part of the service. With addition of Dubai, MSS is presently operating direct cargo ferry services to the destinations; Singapore, Malaysia, Colombo and Cochin and Thoothukudi in India. Whilst cargo ferries from Cochin ports at the northern parts of Maldives, cargo ferries from Thoothukudi ports at the southernmost atolls. Cargo ferries arriving from remaining destinations usually ports at the capital, Male’ City.
