On 29th October, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) announced the full complete of their project Design and Build of Harbor in Henbadhoo in Noonu Atoll, via social media. Today, the return with similar news. MTCC has successfully concluded the Harbor Breakwater Reconstruction Project at Maradhoo in Seenu Atoll, on that very same day.
This project was contracted to the company by Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure on 30th June 2019. It was mobilized on 3rd November 2019. The project consisted of work on dredging and reclamation of 18,873 cubic meters of land, built of a quay wall of 419 meters; revetment of 340 meters and the construction of a concrete bridge 40 meters long and 6 meters wide in addition to installation of 1975 square meter of paved area. The project is worth MVR 28.2 million.
Currently, MTCC is simultaneously involved in various marine and civil construction projects in all corners of the nation. In addition to this, the Company was contracted for 10 additional projects by the Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure on 10th November.
Since establishment in 1980, MTCC has played a major role in the infrastructural development of Maldives.
